भारत सरकार की डिजिटल इंडिया पहल के तहत विगत कुछ वर्षों में विभिन्न स्तरों पर सेवाओं के प्रचलन को मैनुअल माध्यम से ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म पर लाने में वृहद स्तर पर सफलता प्राप्त हुई है। ईज़ ऑफ डुइंग बिज़नेस तथा ईज़ ऑफ लिविंग के तत्वाधान में अब शासन से अपेक्षित विभिन्न स्वीकृतियों/अनुमतियों तथा सेवाओं का लाभ ऑनलाइन ही प्राप्त करना आसान हो गया है।

इसके अतिरिक्त, कोरोना काल में भी डिजिटल सुविधा के लाभ देखे गए हैं तथा डिजिटल सशक्तिकरण की अपरिहार्य आवश्यकता अनुभव की गई है। शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं द्वारा ऑनलाइन कक्षाओं का संचालन तथा अधिकांश व्यवसायों का मैनुअल से ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म पर हस्तांतरित होना इस बात का प्रमाण है कि सुचारु रूप से सामाजिक गतिविधियों के संचालन हेतु अहम कार्यों का ऑनलाइन विकल्प होना आवश्यक है तथा ऑनलाइन सुविधाओं का लाभ लेने हेतु उचित उपकरणों की उपलब्धता भी आवश्यक है।
इसी क्रम में उत्तर प्रदेश को डिजिटल रूप से सक्रिय बनाने हेतु तथा उत्तर प्रदेश के युवाओं के तकनीकी सशक्तिकरण हेतु वर्तमान उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने प्रदेश के विभिन्न वर्गों के छात्रों को टैबलेट/स्मार्ट फोन वितरित करने का निर्णय लिया है। इस योजना के तहत उच्च/उच्चतर शिक्षण संस्थाओं-स्नातक, स्नातकोत्तर, डिप्लोमा, कौशल विकास, पैरामैडिकल तथा नर्सिंग आदि विभिन्न शिक्षण/प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों के अंतर्गत अध्ययनरत छात्रों को इस योजना का लाभ प्राप्त होगा। प्रदेश सरकार, छात्रों को टैबलेट/स्मार्ट फोन उनके संबंधित विश्वविद्यालय/महाविद्यालय/संस्थान के माध्यम से वितरित कराएगी।
वितरित कराए जा रहे टैबलेट/स्मार्ट फोन के माध्यम से छात्रों को विभिन्न विभागों की विकासशील योजनाओं से अवगत कराया जाएगा तथा नवीनतम अपडेट के साथ समय पर नई जानकारी भी साझा की जाएगी। इसके अतिरिक्त, संबंधित विश्वविद्यालय/महाविद्यालय/संस्थान द्वारा फ्लैश मैसेज के माध्यम से छात्रों को कक्षा, पाठ्यक्रम आदि जानकारी भी प्रदान कराई जाएगी तथा छात्रों को विभिन्न शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रमों की सामग्री की उपलब्धता कराई जाएगी।

डिजीशक्ति - युवाओं के डिजिटल सशक्तिकरण और उत्तर प्रदेश की बेहतर शिक्षा प्रणाली के लिए एक योजना
डिजिटल इंडिया के उद्देश्य को सफल बनाने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने माननीय मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी के नेतृत्व में "डिजीशक्ति योजना" शुरू की है | इसके तहत, राज्य सरकार, प्रदेश के शैक्षिक संस्थानों में युवाओं के तकनीकी सशक्तिकरण हेतु टैबलेट और स्मार्टफोन वितरित करेगी।
छात्रों को तकनीकी रूप से सशक्त बनाने के लिए, उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने तकनीकी, चिकित्सा और नर्सिंग संस्थानों के साथ-साथ कौशल विकास कार्यक्रमों के लिए नामांकित 68 लाख से अधिक छात्रों को स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट वितरित करने की योजना बनाई है।
यह योजना उत्तर प्रदेश के शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों और उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा चुने गए किसी भी अन्य हितधारकों के लिए है।
इससे उन्हें सूचना और संचार प्रौद्योगिकियों के उपयोग के माध्यम से अपने ज्ञान और कौशल को बढ़ाने में मदद मिलेगी। इस बात को ध्यान में रखते हुए कि भारत तेजी से पूर्ण डिजिटलीकरण की ओर बढ़ रहा है, यह योजना छात्रों के लिए शिक्षा के नए द्वार खोलने के साथ-साथ नौकरी के अवसर भी देने में मदद करेगी।
विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों द्वारा पोर्टल पर पात्र छात्रों का डाटा फीड करने के बाद टैबलेट व स्मार्टफोन का वितरण किया जाएगा। इस योजना के तहत टैबलेट/स्मार्टफोन प्राप्त करने के लिए छात्रों को कहीं भी पंजीकरण/आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
यह स्मार्टफ़ोन एवं टेबलेट छात्रों को वेब और मोबाइल ऐप पर उपलब्ध विभिन्न शैक्षिक पाठ्यक्रम सामग्री तक पहुंचने, उनकी रुचि के विभिन्न विषयों में गहन अध्ययन करने और दुनिया भर में विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी आदि के क्षेत्र में विकास को सीखने में मदद करेगा। इंटरनेट व स्मार्टफ़ोन एवं टेबलेट का यह मिश्रण छात्रों / शिक्षकों को देश-दुनिया में अपने अनुभव साझा करने का अवसर देगा और राज्य में शिक्षा की समग्र गुणवत्ता में सुधार करने की ओर भी कार्य करेगा ।

छात्रों के लिए निर्देश:
इस योजना के तहत छात्रों को टैबलेट/स्मार्टफोन प्राप्त करने के लिए कहीं भी पंजीकरण/आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है ।
छात्रों के लिए पूरी प्रक्रिया में किसी भी समय कोई लॉगिन आईडी नहीं बनाई जाएगी ।
यदि छात्रों को टैबलेट/स्मार्टफोन प्राप्त करने के लिए किसी भी प्लेटफॉर्म पर विवरण भरने या कोई राशि जमा करने हेतु कोई लिंक, पेज, यूआरएल मिलता है, तो कृपया इसकी सूचना तत्काल …… (फोन नंबर/ईमेल) पर रिपोर्ट करें ।
संबंधित कॉलेज विश्वविद्यालयों को अपने छात्र नामांकन डेटा प्रदान करेंगे जिसे पोर्टल पर अपलोड किया जाएगा ।
डेटा अपलोड और सत्यापित होने के बाद, छात्र अपने टैबलेट/स्मार्टफोन की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकेंगे ।
डाटा में किसी प्रकार की गड़बड़ी होने पर छात्र इसकी सूचना अपने कॉलेज के नोडल अधिकारी को दे सकते हैं |

What is DigiShakti Scheme?

To technically empower the youth of Uttar Pradesh, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched DigiShakti Scheme under which Tablet PCs and Smartphones will be distributed to the students studying in various Educational Institutions of UP and any other stakeholders selected by GoUP, for the academic year 21-22. In addition to distribution of devices, the educational and career related content would be provided to the beneficiaries under this scheme for their empowerment.
Who all are eligible for this scheme?
Answer
Students in the academic year 21-22, pursing Graduation, Post-Graduation, Diploma, Skill Development, MSME and other courses under Higher Education, Technical Education, Technical Education (Diploma), ITIs, Medical Education from Government or Private Universities/Colleges/Institutes of Uttar Pradesh, and any other stakeholders selected by GoUP, are eligible for this scheme.
I am studying in Uttar Pradesh in academic year 21-22, but I am from a different state. Am I eligible for this scheme?

Yes, you are eligible. Any student who is studying in Uttar Pradesh in the Academic Year 21-22 is eligible for this scheme, irrespective of their native state or nationality. That is, even the students of different nations studying in UP in the mentioned academic year are eligible for this scheme.
I am a resident of Uttar Pradesh, currently studying in another state. Am I eligible for this scheme?

No, you are not eligible. This scheme if for the students studying in Uttar Pradesh in academic year 21-22 only.
Do students have to register on this or any portal to get benefited?
Answer
Students do not require registering or applying on any portal to avail the scheme benefit. They will be informed about the status by their respective College/Institute/University Campus through SMS/Email/Notice/Official Website.
Who all are intended to use this portal and how can they register themselves?
Answer
Anyone can access this portal. Universities/Boards/Societies/Councils, College/Institutes, Nodal Officers at District Administration Level, UPDESCO and other bodies authorized by the GoUP from time to time, will be able to access this portal. Also, the users do not have to get themselves registered on portal. There logins will be created by the authorized users of software after which their Login details will be sent on their registered Mobile No. and Email ID.
However, educational and career related content would be available on the portal without any login or registration
What is the process to submit students' data on portal?
Answer
There is no registration to be done by students on the portal. The data is to be provided by the institute, via their universities. A technical process has been defined for the same. All Universities/Colleges/Institutes and other Educational Bodies will be informed about the process through Email or Notification or Notice or Official Website.
Do students have to pay any fee to receive Tablet/Smartphone?
Answer
No charge has been initiated by the GoUP to avail the benefit.
Where should students contact to know the schedule of distribution of device or any other scheme related information?
Answer
Students are advised to regularly visit the official portal of DigiShakti & Official Website of their College/Institute/University to keep themselves informed or they can contact their respective College/Institute/University Campus for more information.
My data has been sent by my institute/university for this scheme. When shall I expect my device?

As on date (28th Dec'21, 5pm), 37,08,713 students' data has been uploaded on the portal from various institutes/universities, and this data is being continuously updated by the stakeholders. In the first phase, that is till March'22, the distribution of devices would be done to Final Year students of all courses, and the students of courses with duration 1 year or less. The distribution of next phase will cater the other students thereafter.
What would be the specification of the devices provided under this scheme?

There are three OEMs (Samsung, Acer, and Lava) currently supplying devices for this scheme. Their respective specifications are as follows:

Specification: RAM 3GB, ROM 32 GB, Octa Core Processor, 8 MP back camera, 5 MP front camera, 5000 mAh battery, storage expendable up to 1 TB.

We do not fetch any personal information from your device. Your IMEI is mapped with your institute enrolment number, which will be used to provide you educational and career related information though DigiShakti Adhyayan App.

If you do not track any personal information, why do you even need an MDM?
Answer
The MDM enrolment has been done for the enterprise deployment of the devices. This ensures that enterprise grade security features are available in the device, it prevents device from data loss, phishing and blocks malware. If device gets stolen, it can be remotely locked by the admin when end user reports such device loss. MDM helps in pushing educational content and career related content to the devices directly, though dynamic wallpaper and boot logo, which helps end user to stay updated with the latest government policies.
How do I ensure my data is secure?
